A leading global retailer is seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Principal Business Development leader to drive high-impact partnerships with top Japanese companies. You’ll lead complex deals that shape the future of e-commerce, digital content, and membership experiences.

What You’ll Do:

· Build and execute strategic partnerships across retail, digital media, and services

· Engage C-level stakeholders and influence decision-makers

· Own end-to-end deal structuring and negotiations

· Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams

· Drive partner growth and long-term value creation

What You Bring:

· 8+ yrs in biz dev, partnerships, or strategic sales (ideally in consumer tech, eCommerce, or media)

· Fluent in Japanese & English

· Track record of closing high-value partnerships with major Japanese companies

· Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills
